Candle Burning Instructions
To ensure the safe and optimal use of your Geneva Candles & Co candles, follow these guidelines: Always burn the candle within sight and away from flammable objects, children, and pets. Trim the wick to 3/16" (5mm) before each lighting and keep the wax pool free from debris. Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours continuously and discontinue use when there is 1/2" of wax remaining to prevent overheating and potential glass breakage.
The candle should be burned in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, vents, and fans to avoid uneven burning and sooting. After extinguishing the flame, center and straighten the wick while the wax is still soft. Allow the candle to cool completely before re-lighting and clean the wick ends to prevent debris. Regular-sized candles should burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, while smaller ones should be limited to 2 hours. Maintain an ambient temperature of 65-75 degrees F for optimal performance and place multiple candles at least 8 inches apart. If your candle is burning unevenly, it may be in a draft—rotate it periodically or move it to a different location. Extinguish wicks with the provided lids to keep the wax clean and even for the next use. If you encounter any issues, contact help@genevacandlesandco.com for assistance.
